Photo: Festive song from the Dunbar Churches
Thanks to all the people from the different churches that turned up for a spot of carol singing at Thurston Manor Caravan Park. It was the Christmas meal for residents and friends of Thurston and we were the warm up act. I am not sure but I think people enjoyed the opportunity for a sing song, of songs that might for some have a special meaning. It was a real show of unity with all but 2 of the churches being represented and they did a fine job of raising the volume to drown out the less tuneful notes coming from my direction.
Thanks to Tony at Thurston Manor for allowing us in and the drinks afterwards. This was one way of the church making contact with the small community that has evolved there at Innerwick, hope to return again soon.
